At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centred on trust and optimised for culture, connection, clarity and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Deal Desk team serves as strategic advisors to LinkedIn’s Field Sales team, managing the Order to Cash (O2C) process and facilitating the complex deal structures and requests that our clients demand. We drive scale within the Sales organisation, allowing sales to focus on selling while we create efficiencies, increase profitability, and enforce stronger controls.

The Deal Desk team serves as trusted strategic advisors to LinkedIn's sales organisation, enabling them to focus on selling while we optimise complex deal structures, ensuring alignment with company policies and driving profitability. We play a critical role in facilitating scalable growth by providing pricing guidance, structuring strategic deals and enhancing efficiency across the sales process.

As a Senior Deal Desk Strategist you will leverage your expertise in policies, pricing and deal structuring to support sales teams in navigating complex deals. You will help drive LinkedIn’s growth and success by partnering with sales teams and other cross-functional partners. You will have a clear and thorough understanding of the end-to-end LinkedIn ecosystem and be a strong leader and a prolific relationship builder.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams by providing expert guidance on pricing strategies, deal structuring and navigating complex client requests
  • Build strong partnerships with sales and cross-functional teams (legal, credit, revenue) to deliver effective service to clients while maintaining top-quality customer experience
  • Continuously improve workflows by identifying inefficiencies and driving innovations in systems and processes, ensuring scalability and enhanced profitability
  • Ensure KPIs are met and find ways to improve through systems innovations, process enhancements, or better use of resources
  • Train, mentor, and educate members of the Deal Desk global team, enabling them to provide excellent support to sales teams and customers
  • Manage and serve as the point of escalation for all OTC issues to clients, sales and cross-functional partners, ensuring timely resolution
  • Be an expert advisor to internal teams on system tools and the creation and execution of all deals, particularly ones of high-value and complexity
  • Provide regular communication and education to the global Deal Desk team on upcoming system changes, driving adoption and effective use of new tools and processes
  • Identify regional nuances in processes and proactively address unique requirements
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners and back-office teams, serving as the primary POC for Deal Desk questions or concerns while minimising the need for escalations
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve OTC issues as needed
  • Act as a role model for change, learning and development, demonstrating a growth mindset and supporting the team in adopting new strategies and improvements
  • Demonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond in supporting sales teams and clients, ensuring their success in navigating complex processes
