Visa is at the forefront of this transition. We are rapidly expanding our stablecoin and tokenized money infrastructure to enhance our network and develop solutions for partners around the world. Visa brings trust, scale, and security to the evolving onchain ecosystem, creating the opportunity for generational impact in payments and beyond.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Operations – Open USD and CMS Stablecoin Operations to lead the daily operating rhythm for Open USD and oversee operational processes for select Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) stablecoin-enabled use cases, including Visa Direct prefunding and payouts. This is a highly hands-on senior operational leadership role with daily responsibilities for ensuring that Open USD and VSP-supported stablecoin flows run reliably, transparently, and at scale. The Senior Manager will establish and enforce operating cadences across product, compliance, legal, risk, operations, data, technology, treasury, settlement, Visa Direct, and client-facing teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operator who combines strong judgment and executive communication with excellent capabilities in workflow automation, job scheduling, operational reporting, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.

You will direct daily product monitoring, establish automated reporting and alerting, manage recurring schedules and operational calendars, lead issues and escalations through resolution, oversee refund and exception processes where applicable, and provide senior stakeholders with timely, decision-ready visibility. You will also identify systemic operational risks and lead cross-functional initiatives to automate manual work, strengthen controls, improve service levels, and scale the operating model.

This role requires senior-level execution discipline, sound operational judgment, outstanding written and verbal communication, and the ability to lead through ambiguity. Success requires daily engagement, rigorous follow-through, and advanced proficiency in designing automated workflows, managing time-sensitive schedules, and producing accurate operational and executive reporting.

This is a hybrid position. expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager, Product Operations – Open USD and CMS Stablecoin Operations, you will:

  • Own the daily operating model for Open USD, including activity monitoring, automated internal reporting, issue tracking, onboarding status, operational controls, and escalations.
  • Lead operational execution for CMS stablecoin-enabled use cases, including Visa Direct prefunding and payouts, with accountability for VSP’s role in the stablecoin legs of those flows.
  • Establish and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and event-driven operating schedules, ensuring that recurring jobs, reconciliations, reviews, reports, stakeholder handoffs, and control activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve automation for monitoring, alerts, workflow routing, data validation, exception handling, reconciliations, scheduling, and report generation to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Build and govern operational dashboards, scorecards, and reporting pipelines that provide accurate, timely visibility into Open USD usage, stablecoin activity, transaction trends, partner activity, onboarding progress, service levels, exceptions, refunds, incidents, and operational health.
  • Deliver decision-ready daily, weekly, and ad hoc reporting to product leaders and senior stakeholders, translating complex operational data into clear insights, risks, actions, and recommendations.

  • Monitor VSP-supported stablecoin activity and scheduled processes, proactively identifying anomalies, missed jobs, delays, exceptions, trends, or control gaps that require intervention.
  • Lead incident, issue, and escalation management, establishing clear ownership, executive-level communications, root-cause analysis, remediation plans, and durable preventive actions.
  • Oversee exception, and remediation processes, including intake, prioritization, tracking, cross-functional coordination, status reporting, control validation, and process improvement.
  • Maintain end-to-end visibility into partner onboarding and operational readiness, identifying blockers, driving decisions, coordinating dependencies, and ensuring accurate readiness reporting.
  • Serve as the senior operational point of contact across product, compliance, legal, risk, operations, data, client services, regional teams, technology, treasury, settlement, CMS, and Visa Direct.

  • Lead operational readiness for new capabilities, use cases, partners, and market launches, including automation requirements, reporting setup, runbooks, scheduling, controls, escalation paths, communications, and readiness criteria.
  • Develop and mature the Open USD and VSP stablecoin operations strategy, including operating cadence, issue taxonomy, service levels, escalation paths, staffing and capacity considerations, handoffs, governance, controls, and performance metrics.
