Why this role is important to us:

Agency Lending is modernizing its data, reporting, and analytics platforms to improve scalability, data quality, operational efficiency, and self-service reporting capabilities. As part of this transformation, State Street is investing in modern cloud-based technologies, enterprise data platforms, and business intelligence solutions to better support client reporting, operational reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.

The Agency Lending Data & Reporting team is responsible for delivering trusted data and reporting solutions that support business users, clients, regulators, and downstream applications. Key initiatives include modernizing legacy reporting and Oracle data warehouse platforms, expanding the use of Databricks as the strategic data platform, enabling new business intelligence capabilities, and implementing scalable integration frameworks using APIs and modern data delivery patterns.

  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resource planning, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Serve as the primary technology delivery lead for the Agency Lending Data & Reporting application portfolio.

  • Define and execute the Agency Lending Data & Reporting technology roadmap.
  • Coordinate and lead delivery activities across architecture, engineering, data engineering, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, production support, and operations teams.
  • Drive modernization initiatives involving Oracle-based data warehouse solutions, Databricks, reporting platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise data solutions.
  • Partner with architects and engineers to design scalable data and reporting solutions that support current and future business needs.
  • Support the development of a common reporting framework that enables Cognos, Power BI, and other business intelligence platforms to consume consistent, governed data from Databricks.
  • Lead API integration initiatives between Agency Lending applications and upstream and downstream enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with State Street technology standards, SDLC processes, operational controls, security requirements, and audit standards.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, milestones, and delivery outcomes.

  • Ability to translate business priorities into practical technology solutions through strong collaboration with business SMEs and engineering teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • A focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed onshore and offshore technology teams.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing engineering, data, and delivery organizations.
  • Ability to balance people leadership responsibilities with program delivery, stakeholder management, and strategic planning.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both internal teams and third-party vendors.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the modernization of Agency Lending's data and reporting platforms while helping establish a scalable foundation for enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.
