Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards while ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Expertise in Rest Assured for API test automation.
- Experience with Service Virtualization and/or Data Mocking tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of AI Prompt Engineering and the application of AI-assisted solutions in software testing and quality engineering.
Additional Required Skills:
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
Ability to design and implement scalable automated test suites that improve efficiency and test coverage.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated testing.
Skilled in analyzing test results and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects effectively.
Strong understanding of test strategy, automation architecture, and quality engineering best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
