Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding the technical vision and architectural decisions for bespoke software projects. This role includes overseeing the design and implementation phases, ensuring that development practices meet high standards for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders and teams is a key part of the daily routine to align technical solutions with business goals and to foster a productive and innovative work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), Banking.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to enterprise applications.
- Experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications within complex business environments.
- Familiarity with database design and optimization techniques to support robust data management.
- Ability to lead code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain software quality.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
