Job Description
The Learning Technology Solutions Manager reports to the Learning & Development Solutions Lead in a Global Capability Center. Two positions will share responsibility for administering, governing, and optimizing the Learning and Talent Management technology portfolio. Product assignments will reflect evolving business and portfolio needs and may include established, emerging, and newly launched technologies. Together, the roles enable Takeda curators, learners, people leaders, and other users to access and effectively leverage the portfolio.
Working across global teams and time zones, this role is a hands-on partner and primary point of support for platform users and curators. It resolves tickets, troubleshoots product challenges, manages licenses and access, delivers training, and advises enterprise and functional teams on effective use of the portfolio. Key partners include product owners, technology teams, vendors, shared services, and functional learning teams, including GSQ and DD&T where applicable.
How you will contribute:
- Administer an assigned group of learning technology products, including configuration, access, permissions, publishing, testing, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Adapt product responsibilities with the other Learning Technology Solutions Manager as technologies, priorities, capacity, and user needs evolve.
- Support readiness, launch, adoption, and transition to operations for new and emerging products.
- Triage and resolve user and curator tickets; investigate root causes, coordinate escalations, and communicate solutions and workarounds.
- Guide curators and users on how to use, manage, and optimize platforms; deliver onboarding, training, office hours, demonstrations, job aids, FAQs, and self-service resources.
- Manage licenses, subscriptions, access, utilization, renewals, and records with product owners, procurement, vendors, and technology teams.
- Partner with enterprise and functional learning teams, including GSQ and DD&T where applicable, to recommend scalable technology solutions and avoid unnecessary customization or duplication.
- Use ticket trends, feedback, license data, and analytics to identify product gaps, adoption barriers, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain product documentation, governance standards, release communications, and knowledge articles; coordinate releases, incidents, enhancements, integrations, risks, and service improvements.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of relevant experience in learning technology, platform administration, product support, learning operations, HR technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience supporting digital learning platforms such as BLOOM, Novo-Ed, Synthesia, content hubs, learning pathways, or similar products.
- Experience with ticket management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident escalation, user support, and knowledge management.
- Experience managing licenses, subscriptions, access, permissions, utilization, vendor relationships, and renewals.
- Ability to train and enable curators and users through demonstrations, facilitation, documentation, job aids, and self-service resources.
- Strong consultative skills, with the ability to translate enterprise or functional needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
- Working knowledge of content curation, platform governance, metadata, testing, accessibility, quality assurance, and lifecycle management.
- Strong service orientation, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities and influence global, cross-functional stakeholders.
This role combines hands-on platform administration, troubleshooting, user and curator enablement, license management, and technology consultation. Its primary focus is delivering reliable, scalable, and user-centered learning technology products and services, with solution design and content curation consultation as needed.
