Summary

As a UI Frameworks Evangelist on the Evangelism team in Worldwide Developer Relations, you'll help third-party developers adopt UI frameworks and technologies across Apple platforms. You'll work with them to improve the architecture, design, and quality of apps used by millions of people.

Description

You'll work directly with developers on how they build, structure, and migrate their apps, with SwiftUI and related UI frameworks as your primary focus. You'll connect with developers in workshops, present to companies to guide their adoption of Apple technologies, and bring what you learn back to Apple's engineering teams to help guide future features. Many of the projects you take on won't be well defined at the start, and you'll help shape them as you go.

Responsibilities

Advise third-party developers on building well-designed apps and adopting Apple technologies and platform features
Lead hands-on technical labs, code-level consultations, and architectural reviews
Plan, develop, and oversee technical sessions for WWDC and year-round developer activities, including labs, workshops, Meet with Apple events, in-person events, and online programs
Advocate for the requirements of third-party developers with Apple engineering teams
Build working knowledge of technology areas beyond UI frameworks, so you can advise developers on how their apps work with the system as a whole
Help the broader team stay current on UI frameworks best practices

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of experience developing for Apple platforms, including shipped production apps
Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, with day-to-day fluency in Xcode
Experience guiding technical direction on a large app or project team and mentoring other engineers
Clear written and verbal communication, with experience presenting technical content to developers, colleagues, or technical leaders
Experience delivering work on fixed deadlines, such as release or event milestones
Comfort with ambiguity, including taking on projects that aren't well defined up front and working across teams and organizations

Preferred Qualifications

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of UIKit and AppKit, including interoperability with SwiftUI and migrating existing apps
Familiarity with the Human Interface Guidelines and how UI frameworks integrate with system features
Familiarity with how AI-assisted and agentic coding is changing the way developers build UI
Experience planning and overseeing projects
