Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced payments resilience and business-change lead to coordinate the business readiness, requirements and operating-model implications of SWIFT resiliency  capabilities and other contingency related programs. The role will work closely with the anomaly detection and traceability leads so that infrastructure resilience, transaction visibility, controls, testing and operational response are designed as one coherent capability.

Why this role is important to us?

Our Payments Business Risk and Resiliency Programs includes strategic resilience planning for SWIFT cold-start failover and alternative-network capabilities. Effective adoption requires clear business requirements, governance decisions, operating procedures, test plans and global readiness across payment operations and supporting technology teams.

Join us if contributing to our Payments Business Risk and Resiliency Programs is a challenge you are up for.

What you will be responsible for

  • Lead the business analysis and readiness plan for SWIFT resiliency , aligned to programme milestones, external dependencies and internal governance.
  • Translate SWIFT and architecture inputs into business requirements, operating impacts, decisions, risks, assumptions and implementation action.
  • Map critical payment and settlement flows, applications, infrastructure dependencies, identities, connectivity, monitoring points and recovery requirements.
  • Coordinate decisions on usage model, operating model, governance, global adoption, pilot scope, capabilities, controls and escalation routes.
  • Develop readiness criteria, playbooks, business continuity procedures, recovery roles and alternative-processing scenarios.
  • Partner with Technology, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Resiliency and Operations on design reviews, control requirements and evidence needs.
  • Define and coordinate tabletop exercises, connectivity tests, failover simulations, pilot preparation and business acceptance activities.
  • Use the traceability workstream’s application maps and event data to define transaction monitoring and evidence requirements during disruption and recovery.
  • Align anomaly detection and cyber-response processes so suspicious or incorrect payment activity is triaged effectively during resilience events.
  • Prepare steering updates, decision papers, risk assessments and post-test remediation plans; support transition to ongoing BAU resilience governance.

What we value:

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Strong knowledge of global payments, SWIFT messaging infrastructure and operational resilience or business continuity.
  • Experience translating technical architecture or external-industry initiatives into business requirements and readiness plans.
  • Strong process, dependency, risk and control analysis skills.
  • Experience designing or coordinating resilience tests, pilots, failover exercises or production-readiness activity.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Cybersecurity and Risk.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, risk or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of relevant financial services experience, including payments and resilience, infrastructure or major change.
  • Business continuity, operational resilience, SWIFT or project-delivery qualifications are advantageous.
