Are you energized by building strategic partnerships that shape how technology reaches customers at scale? Amazon is looking for a Partner Engagement Lead to manage complex partner engagements that drive meaningful business outcomes. This role owns execution and business outcomes at the partner level for building AWS-credentialed FDE teams inside partners who deliver production agentic systems on the AWS AI stack. You will serve as a subject matter expert in your domain, influencing stakeholders from individual contributors to senior leaders while translating market insights into actionable plans. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy connecting the dots between partners, products, and customers, and want your work to have measurable impact, this is the role for you.

Key job responsibilities

- Run quarterly milestone reviews for each assigned partner against defined goals. Ensure investments translate into measurable outcomes: pipeline conversion, customer testimonials, and revenue. Collect and synthesize milestone evidence from internal engineering leads and from the partner.
- Surface operational patterns to program leadership: what works, what blocks, what takes longest. Escalate systemic blockers as the partner cohort grows.
- Work with engineering leads to recommend team composition adjustments based on partner performance data and capacity constraints.
- Validate opportunities meet initiative criteria: path to production, agentic AI delivery, and named accounts within the partner's committed portfolio.
- Partner with AWS field teams to embed agentic led as a core motion in customer engagements they run with the partner.
- Resolve engagement-level blockers across AWS account teams and partner teams: misalignment, duplicative asks, and sequencing conflicts.
- Drive a unified partner approach by coordinating across partner management, specialist teams, and field sales without creating additional process overhead.

A day in the life
You will start your morning reviewing pipeline data and preparing for a partner negotiation call, then shift into a cross-functional working session where you align product, sales, and engineering teams around a joint go-to-market initiative. After lunch, you might draft a strategic proposal for a new partnership opportunity or analyze market research to refine your approach. Throughout, you will coach teammates, respond to partner inquiries, and use generative AI tools to accelerate your analysis and communications.

Our team is focused on building partnerships that create real value for Amazon's customers. We work at the intersection of business strategy and technology, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to bring innovative solutions to market.
