About the role
Original posting provided by amazon
You will lead, innovate, and improve our marketing investment allocations through product and roadmap ownership, identifying efficiency gains and best practices while delivering a scalable candidate experience. Success requires solid analytical abilities, sound business acumen, and exceptional written and oral communication. As a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and a strong understanding of marketing KPIs, you will own team metrics and deliver regular reporting to leaders — making tradeoff decisions on resources and roadmaps that balance inputs from Finance, 3P, Legal, HR, and One Medical partners.
As the lead steward of our employer brand, you will own the strategy and execution of creative communications, content, and candidate experience campaigns across all recruiting functions. You will take a proactive approach to identifying creative strategies that deepen candidate engagement, keeping a close eye on industry trends and experimenting with new creative treatments to bring concepts to life, gain buy-in, and drive adoption across stakeholders.
You will also own the marketing stack that drives the majority of our provider hires — managing vendors, agency partners, and internal marketing teams while steering a substantial marketing investment. This highly visible role partners with senior leaders across the organization, pairing a rigorous approach to analytics with bold creative execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Work at a strategic level to champion bold, creative ideas — and at a tactical level to ensure execution excellence of plans designed to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
- Improve the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts without compromising the quality of candidates attracted.
- Bring a strong background in creative work, with proven experience influencing and collaborating with diverse senior stakeholders — product designers, photo studios, and agencies — to move toward an aligned vision.
- Earn trust from internal and external partners, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Derive critical insights by analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, gathering requirements, and prioritizing requests.
- Take a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics — producing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from data.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, as well as balance business needs versus constraints.
- Gain and maintain awareness of labor markets and their impact on Healthcare Systems hiring.
A day in the life
No two days look the same. You might start by reviewing campaign performance and candidate-funnel metrics over coffee, then join a creative sync with your agency partners to refine employer-brand messaging. Midday, you're influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Recruiting on marketing investment tradeoffs. In the afternoon, you dig into source-of-hire data to spot efficiency gains, draft a leadership update, and brainstorm a bold new candidate-engagement campaign. You close the day steering a vendor conversation — balancing strategy and execution to keep great talent flowing to One Medical.
