Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in analysis, problem solving and communication to Citi’s Services team.

By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.

Team/Role Overview:

Services provides global solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, public sector, and commercial clients optimize operations and drive their business forward.  Through our five business lines – Liquidity Management Services, Payments, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services, and Issuer Services - we provide cash management, payments/receivables solutions, working capital solutions, post-trade securities services, and issuer services across Citi’s global network.

The UK Asset Managers Head is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, revenue growth, client engagement, and market positioning for the Asset Managers segment across the United Kingdom. This individual will be directly accountable for delivering commercial outcomes for the UK market that are fully aligned with, and contribute to, the global segment strategy.

The role will own senior relationships, including C-suite, with the UK's largest and most strategically important asset management clients, acting as a trusted local partner while representing the full breadth of Citi's global Investor Services capabilities. This individual will translate the global go-to-market strategy into a targeted UK plan, identify local growth opportunities, and ensure the successful execution of complex, often multi-jurisdictional, deals originating from or touching the UK market.

The role requires strong UK market insight, including knowledge of the domestic regulatory landscape (e.g. FCA, PRA), exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to influence senior client and internal executive audiences.

The role works in close partnership with Issuer Services, Banking and Markets colleagues to drive One Citi / pan-Services client solutions within the UK, while remaining closely aligned to the Global Head of Asset Managers and the broader global segment leadership team on strategy, pipeline and thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and credible UK market leader with a strong track record of sales success and experience running a disciplined, high-quality sales process. This individual will have direct experience winning new mandates with UK asset managers and owning senior client relationships. This is a high-impact, visible role that will shape the trajectory of Citi's Asset and Wealth Manager segment in the UK, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on operational execution.

This role reports to the UK FI Sales Head and will have a matrix reporting line to the Global Asset Managers Head.

What you’ll do:

Revenue and Expense Outcomes:

  • Drive UK sales performance across the segment to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets, in support of the global segment strategy
  • Create, develop and maintain an active local pipeline of relevant opportunities aligned to the global and UK strategy
  • Represent UK segment priorities and performance to the Global Head of Asset Managers and UK leadership, demonstrating progress against strategic goals
  • Design and execute UK-targeted sales campaigns and contribute to thought leadership content for the segment, both internally and externally

Client Relationship:

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with key UK-headquartered and UK-based asset manager clients in the segment
  • Act as the senior relationship owner for the UK's most strategically important clients, including at C-suite level
  • Champion client-focused initiatives that enhance product and service offerings, client experience, and reinforce Citi's value proposition to UK clients

Collaboration and Cross Sell:

  • Partner with the broader UK Client, Banking and Markets organisations across Citi to identify clients where Citi can win in the UK market
  • Work closely with partners across Services to cross-sell, provide UK market feedback, and inform product enhancement, development, and service model design
  • Drive new business mandates by working effectively with senior UK and global stakeholders including Product, Data, Operations and Technology partners
  • Maintain close, regular alignment with the Global Head of Asset Managers to ensure UK activity supports and feeds into the global segment strategy and pipeline

Thought Leadership and Solution Design:

  • Support the external market positioning of FI Sales for this segment within the UK, working with Marketing and Content teams
  • Monitor UK market trends, regulatory developments (including FCA and PRA requirements) and competitive dynamics to adjust local strategy and maintain market leadership
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure UK client requirements and needs are reflected in internal initiatives and product offerings

What we’ll need from you:

  • Significant senior sales leadership experience within the financial services industry, with a strong track record in the UK market
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic sales plans and achieve financial targets
  • Strong understanding of Services products, services, and the competitive landscape in the UK
  • Working knowledge of the UK regulatory environment relevant to asset managers (e.g. FCA, PRA)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Strategic analysis and thought process, with the ability to localise global strategy for the UK market
  • Ability to work with multiple organisations and stakeholders, including senior management, global colleagues, and UK regulators
  • Education: Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred
