Overview

The Engineering, Enablement & Operations (EE&O) team enables Microsoft Commercial Business (MCB) to support the transformation and economic success of people and organizations by designing and managing the systems, tools, and strategies that drive commercial excellence across compensation, performance insights, planning, skilling, and sales tools.

The EE&O Strategy & Operations Fiscal Planning team translates Commercial strategy into the operating design for the next fiscal year by coordinating strategic pillars and managing the end-to-end planning process, including stakeholder engagement, workback plans, disclosure moments, and audience experiences. We are looking for a Senior Business Program Manager, Fiscal Year Commercial Planning Content Strategy to lead commercial planning content and orchestration, connecting strategy to execution and creating clarity across complex organizations.

In this role, you will lead the content strategy, orchestration, and experience for fiscal year planning and key landing moments. You will define what each audience needs to know, when they need it, and how they experience it throughout the planning journey. You will develop an integrated process to source and govern content, shape the tools and systems that make information easier to find and apply, and collaborate across global and regional teams to translate planning decisions into clear, audience-centered experiences for leaders, managers, and individual contributors.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Translate business strategies, leadership decisions, and planning changes into clear, actionable content tailored to each audience and landing moment while maintaining a cohesive content architecture and narrative.

Content Orchestration & Governance

  • Develop and lead an integrated process to collect, prioritize, review, approve, and publish content from teams across MCB and business partners, including Finance, HR, and Engineering.
  • Establish content governance, roles, timelines, quality standards, and decision checkpoints, coordinating contributions across subject matter experts, planning teams, communications partners, and business leaders.
  • Track content readiness, dependencies, risks, and decisions, resolving issues and escalating tradeoffs as needed.

Content Experience

  • Shape the end-to-end content journey and the tools, systems, and experiences that enable leaders, managers, and individual contributors to discover, navigate, understand, and apply content.
  • Partner with planning, communications, design, and technology stakeholders to improve content usability, accessibility, findability, and adoption, incorporating stakeholder feedback and engagement insights.

Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with business leaders and global and regional stakeholders to translate strategic direction and planning decisions into executive-ready narratives, cascade materials, and enablement resources aligned to consistent messages, timelines, and execution expectations.
  • Drive readiness across the leadership-to-field cascade by providing audiences with the context, guidance, and resources needed to understand fiscal year changes and take action.

Program Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage cross-functional workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and evolving requirements, providing leadership with clear status updates, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify content development, governance, and delivery, including AI-enabled approaches that improve efficiency with appropriate human review and accountability.
