Executive Assistant, Mastercard Risk

Overview:
• This London, UK based position reports to the EVP, Risk Strategy and Transformation, Mastercard Risk.
• The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing:
1) full administrative support to the EVP, Risk Strategy and Transformation
2) limited administrative support to 3-4 SVPs in the Mastercard Risk function
• The role includes performing general assistance across departmental/office activities
• Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, calm under pressure, and experienced Executive Assistant to create a positive and collaborative team culture.

Role:
The Executive Assistant will assist daily with time sensitive and highly confidential matters, including but not limited to regulatory, Risk Committee and entity Board materials and other items such as those relating to Group and Regulated Entity Risk Management, Risk and Control incidents/improvements, and Risk organization personnel. As such, the ability to handle such matters with insight is critical. As the administrative liaison, and a member of Mastercard Risk, we are looking for someone that embodies the Mastercard Way by doing the right thing by demonstrating decency, inclusion, and being a force for good.

Responsibilities include:
• Distribute meeting materials; screening email and telephone calls; electronically filing documents; ordering supplies, and maintaining department records, and other duties, as assigned.
• Partner with senior executive assistants within the Mastercard Risk function as back-up admin.
• Prepare correspondence; email; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation.
• Assist EVP’s chief of staff with planning leadership meetings, offsites, broader team meetings and client engagements.
• Organize and coordinate team meetings and communication flow withing the team.
• Develop and produce team reports, as assigned.
• Maintain and update internal and external distribution lists for email correspondence.
• Administer programs; projects or processes specific to the operating unit served; and maintain spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
• Perform general administrative duties for EVP and SVPs to support day-to-day department operations in such areas as calendar management, scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements (including passports and visas as needed), and expense reporting.
• May research special topics, as assigned.
• May assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budget.
• May monitor and coordinate work of other employees or temporary/contract resources.

• Demonstrated professionalism and discretion, and experience in working with highly confidential information.
• Extremely collaborative and fostering a positive spirit and can-do attitude and is also extremely open in accepting feedback and suggestions.
• Adherence to the Mastercard Risk Team Agreement for Return to Office Company Strategy.
• Extensive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with c-suite executive level management, senior customers, and board members.
• Proficiency in Outlook and competency across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with expense management platforms (such as Oracle).
• Experience in harmonizing across matrixed, cross functional and global organization structure.
• Experience in supporting senior level executives in a fast-paced corporate work environment.
• Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Intrinsically motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented and results-oriented.
• Able to work well under deadlines, anticipate needs and prioritize work accordingly.
