The Work
Kick-start your career in our Consulting Development Program-style environment within CFO & Enterprise Value, where you will build leading consulting and digital finance skills through diverse project experiences across industries.
You will:
- Work closely with clients to understand how their business operates today, with a focus on the Office of the CFO and finance organizations.
- Identify opportunities to improve end-to-end finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report.
- Support finance transformation initiatives leveraging AI, intelligent automation, analytics, and digital finance solutions.
- Help implement Cloud ERP and enterprise value platforms, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, and Anaplan.
- Use data and analytics to uncover insights, support decision-making, and tell compelling business stories.
- Support project delivery by managing timelines, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Participate in client workshops, prepare materials, facilitate discussions, and support change management and adoption efforts.
Work location: This role may include a mix of working remotely and working onsite (up to 80%) with our clients/partners or in our offices/delivery centers to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships. You should expect some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.
What You'll Need
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (internship, co-op, or full-time) in finance, accounting, controllership, FP&A, audit, shared services, or finance transformation.
- Currently pursuing a CPA designation.
- Enrolled in CPA PEP and/or registered for or recently completed the CFE.
- Recently graduated (or soon to graduate) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field such as Business, Commerce, Accounting & Financial Management, Financial Risk Management, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting to groups, facilitating discussions, and communicating insights.
- Familiarity with finance processes, business analysis, project management, and technology-enabled transformation.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
- Eligibility for Reliability Clearance for Ottawa location
Bonus Points If You Have
- Exposure to ERP or finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, OneStream, Anaplan, BlackLine, or similar technologies.
- Experience with automation, analytics, Power BI, advanced Excel, or process improvement initiatives.
- Interest in AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation applications within finance and accounting.
- Prior consulting, co-op, internship, or project experience supporting business transformation initiatives
