Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a talented Content Writer to join the Content Studio within our Integrated Demand Center (IDC). Content Studio is the creative production engine for AWS Marketing, delivering world-class, customer-centric content across email, landing pages, whitepapers, blogs, social media, paid media, and more.

In this role, you will craft clear, compelling, and brand-consistent copy that powers large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns spanning multiple channels and audiences. The majority of our work is driven by these coordinated campaign programs, so you will collaborate closely with designers, video producers, production managers, campaign managers, and product marketers to translate business priorities and briefs into content that resonates with customers and drives measurable results.

The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, can flex their voice across formats and audiences, and is passionate about producing high-quality work at scale. You are equally comfortable owning a short-form social post and a long-form technical asset, and you sweat the details of brand voice, accuracy, and clarity. You also embrace AI as a creative partner, using it to amplify your output and work at scale.

We are a team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement. You will help us raise the bar on content quality while educating stakeholders and refining how we work.

Key job responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread clear, engaging, on-brand copy across a range of formats: emails, landing pages, whitepapers, blog posts, social media, paid media, and short-form video scripts.

Use AI tools as a force-multiplier to accelerate drafting, editing, ideation, and production, raising both the quality and volume of content you can deliver at scale.

Partner closely with the production management team to align on priorities, timelines, and workflow, ensuring content moves smoothly through intake, review, and delivery.

Collaborate with designers, video producers, campaign managers, and product marketers to turn creative briefs and business goals into effective content.

Help steer and guide external agency partners who support our content production, providing clear direction, brand guidance, and feedback to ensure their work meets AWS quality standards.

Interpret briefs quickly, ask the right questions, and deliver polished copy against tight timelines while managing multiple concurrent requests.

Adapt tone, voice, and messaging for different audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey.

Ensure all content adheres to AWS brand, style, and quality standards, and is consistent across touchpoints.

Incorporate feedback from reviewers and stakeholders, and contribute to continuous optimization of content and process.

Help educate partner teams on content best practices and the value the Content Studio delivers.

A day in the life
You'll pick up briefs from our intake queue, sync with production management on priorities and deadlines, and draft copy that a designer or video producer can bring to life. You might write a customer email in the morning, use AI tools to accelerate a first draft and free up time for higher-value creative work, refine a landing page headline before a mid-day review, and provide direction to an agency partner on a campaign asset in the afternoon, all while incorporating feedback and keeping brand voice tight. You'll join a short daily sync with the copy team to align on priorities and unblock work.

About the team
Content Studio is the primary creative production unit for AWS Marketing's digital content. We handle design, copy, video, social, paid media, email, whitepapers, landing pages, motion graphics, and blogs, with most of our output powering integrated, multi-channel campaigns. We work in an Agile methodology, using regular syncs, iterative delivery, and continuous feedback to move quickly and improve as we go. Our objectives: deliver world-class, customer-centric content at AWS quality standards; create brand-consistent experiences; scale delivery efficiently with continuous optimization; and grow our capability while educating our stakeholders. We work hand-in-hand with production management and external agency partners, and we lean into AI to work smarter and scale our impact.
