Overview
The Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) Financial Systems organization is establishing Enterprise Order Management (EOM) as a global capability and critical discipline within Mastercard’s end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) landscape. The Vice President, Enterprise Order Management will define the enterprise vision, establish the global function and operating model, and lead a multi-year transformation that standardizes how customer commitments are converted into controlled, scalable, and auditable orders across businesses and markets.
This executive leader will set the global strategy, governance, engagement model, and roadmap for EOM, balancing enterprise standards with business, product, market, customer, regulatory, and technology requirements. The role will convene senior and executive stakeholders across Product, Sales, Services, Technology, Finance, Controllership, Legal, Operations, and regional teams to align priorities, resolve cross-enterprise decisions, and steer investment and adoption.
The Vice President will oversee the EOM platform ecosystem and organizational capability, including platform strategy, process ownership, architecture and integration alignment, delivery enablement, operational readiness, change adoption, and ongoing run and maintenance. Success requires connecting the EOM agenda to broader O2C outcomes, including customer experience, time to revenue, billing accuracy, revenue protection, financial controls, operational scalability, and enterprise visibility.

Role
In this position, you will:
• Establish the Global EOM Function: Create and scale a global Enterprise Order Management function, including its mandate, decision rights, governance, service model, organizational structure, capabilities, performance measures, and relationship to adjacent O2C disciplines.
• Set Enterprise Strategy and Multi-Year Roadmap: Own the enterprise EOM vision and phased roadmap across business lines, products, markets, and platforms. Translate enterprise strategy into investment priorities, migration sequencing, capability releases, value milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Provide Executive Governance and Steering: Establish and lead executive steering mechanisms that enable timely decisions on scope, funding, architecture, standards, risk, sequencing, and adoption. Prepare senior leaders to make informed trade-offs and maintain clear accountability across sponsors and workstreams.
• Shape the O2C Enterprise Lens: Influence the broader O2C agenda by defining how order capture, validation, orchestration, fulfillment, billing readiness, invoicing, revenue, collections, and customer support connect through common standards, controls, data, and ownership boundaries.
• Drive Global Collaboration and Alignment: Build durable partnerships across global and regional Product, Sales, Services, Technology, Finance, Controllership, Legal, Risk, Operations, and customer-facing teams. Align diverse business models and market needs to a scalable enterprise framework while managing justified exceptions.
• Lead Enterprise Platform and Integration Strategy: Provide executive ownership for the EOM platform ecosystem and its integration with upstream and downstream capabilities, including CRM and CPQ, contracting, product catalog, fulfillment, billing, payment, finance, analytics, and customer-support platforms. Ensure clear systems of authority, resilient integration patterns, data integrity, reconciliation, observability, and control.
• Govern Enterprise Standards and Engagement Models: Define intake, prioritization, design, decision, delivery, change, support, and escalation models for EOM. Establish reusable standards that reduce bespoke solutions, clarify ownership, and improve consistency across business programs.
• Sponsor Transformation Delivery and Adoption: Oversee complex, multi-year delivery across discovery, design, implementation, migration, testing, cutover, stabilization, and optimization. Ensure business readiness, change leadership, communications, training, and adoption are embedded in each phase.

All About You
The ideal candidate for the Vice President, Enterprise Order Management position should:
• Bring significant senior leadership experience: building or transforming enterprise capabilities in a complex, global, matrixed organization, with accountability extending beyond a single platform implementation.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in Enterprise Order Management and Order-to-Cash: including the relationships among commercial processes, contracting, order orchestration, fulfillment, billing, invoicing, revenue, payments, collections, controls, and customer support.
• Have a proven record of establishing enterprise disciplines and operating models: including governance, decision rights, global standards, engagement models, service ownership, performance measures, and adoption across multiple businesses or regions.
• Show success shaping and executing multi-year transformation roadmaps: with experience aligning vision, investment, architecture, organizational change, delivery sequencing, and measurable value realization.
• Possess strong enterprise systems and integration acumen: with experience influencing cloud and on-premise ecosystems, master and transactional data, APIs and event-based integrations, reconciliation, observability, security, controls, and system lifecycle decisions.
• Demonstrate executive presence and influence: with the ability to engage senior and executive leaders, frame enterprise decisions, navigate competing priorities, challenge constructively, and create alignment without relying solely on direct authority.
• Translate complexity into clear strategic choices: by connecting business models, customer needs, technology architecture, operational impacts, financial outcomes, and risk into concise recommendations for executive audiences.
• Lead through ambiguity and enterprise change: while creating structure, momentum, accountability, and confidence across a broad and evolving stakeholder environment.
• Build and lead global, multidisciplinary teams: with a track record of developing leaders, attracting critical capabilities, and establishing sustainable operating and support models.
• Bring strong commercial and financial judgment: including experience with business cases, investment governance, vendor negotiations, portfolio prioritization, benefits realization, and total-cost-of-ownership considerations.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience: in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
