About the job

As Sales Lead for the Northern Area within our Respiratory Therapeutic Area, you'll own the sales strategy and drive the execution of our business plan across your territory, acting as the key commercial reference for the brand in the region. You'll lead, coach and inspire a team of 8 Sales Representatives, working closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Marketing to maximize commercial impact and build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Representatives across the Northern Area, providing day-to-day coaching, performance management and professional development to maximize individual and collective sales performance.
  • Take full ownership of the area's commercial performance across all promoted indications, ensuring achievement of sales targets and business objectives at regional level, with accountability for results across the full indication portfolio.
  • Own and execute the regional sales plan for the assigned indication(s), ensuring alignment with national brand strategy, commercial targets and Therapeutic Area objectives.
  • Translate marketing strategy into field reality, ensuring the day-to-day activity of the Sales Representatives is fully aligned with the brand strategy, bridging the gap between strategic intent and field execution within the designated territory.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration at the regional level, coordinating with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and Business Excellence to ensure consistent and impactful execution of brand initiatives in the field.
  • Develop team capabilities in account planning and sales analysis, equipping Sales Representatives with the tools, methodologies and analytical skills needed to prioritize opportunities and drive performance at account level.
  • Build and manage relationships with key regional stakeholders (KOLs, hospital pharmacy committees, patient associations, scientific societies, etc.) to strengthen brand positioning and identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation within the region, including call planning, territory coverage and promotional activity, to optimize return on investment and achieve budgeted objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal and ethical requirements in all sales activities and customer interactions.

 

About you

As Sales Lead for the Northern Area, you bring strong leadership capability to drive field sales teams in a complex environments. You are a natural people leader and a trusted commercial reference, comfortable navigating complex and dynamic environments and driving results through others with a high degree of autonomy.

 

Experience:

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational excellence, translating central strategy into impactful field execution:

  • Proven track record of results in sales, marketing or sales team leadership, with quantifiable achievements.
  • Strategic headquarters experience in central roles such as Marketing, Medical or Commercial Excellence, with a solid understanding of brand strategy, market dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Field background as a Sales Representative or Medical Science Liaison (MSL), giving you first-hand credibility and a genuine understanding of customer interactions and field execution.
  • Experience in Leadership of people, coaching and inspiring teams in complex or matrixed environments. Highly valued.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields, demonstrating strong business acumen and a genuine interest in the healthcare industry.

 

Languages:

  • Spanish – Fluent (Native or C2 level)
  • English – Fluent (C1 level minimum)

The salary range for this position is :€70 800,00 - €94 400

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
