Description

The Mac Operations Program Specialist (OPS) plays a key role in launching Apple's new products on time with superior product quality and maximum customer availability. You will be a key facilitator who defines and drives material strategy to enable manufacturing line bring-up, collaborates with engineering to define the final bill of materials, and helps ensure a successful product launch with all lines brought up on schedule and within budget.
This role is well-suited for someone who is self-directed, thinks beyond the immediate task, and brings a systems-level perspective to operational challenges. We are looking for someone who can execute with precision on day-to-day deliverables while also demonstrating the strategic instincts and cross-functional leadership presence needed to grow within Product Operations.

Responsibilities

Lead Apple and OEM operations teams in executing operations builds and line bring-up material strategy
Track build readiness and risks; partner with Procurement and Engineering on material down-selections, technical risks, and production risks
Own communications across cross-functional teams — resolve issues proactively and communicate current status clearly and consistently
Influence product cost and margin through material usage optimization projects
Communicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross-functional teams
NPI owner for ordering, tracking, and actualizing material to support development builds and product ramp; drive on-time delivery through Apple Procurement and direct supplier engagement
Cross-functional owner for BOM tracking and readiness
Create purchase orders, maintain invoice tracking, and manage goods receipts
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate operational workflows; build or contribute to tools that reduce manual effort and improve data visibility across the team

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of industry experience in NPI, Supply Chain Management, or Manufacturing Operations

Pay & Benefits — Cupertino, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,500 and $201,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
