Amazon Advertising is one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses. The Marketing Insights and Technology (MINT) team builds the data infrastructure that powers advertising insights used by Amazon's global sales organization and advertisers. Our insights help advertisers — from the largest global brands to small businesses — understand their audiences, optimize their marketing spend, and drive awareness, consideration, and purchase of their products across Amazon, Prime Video, Twitch, and beyond. Our data pipelines also feed agentic workflows that serve insights to advertisers and sales teams at scale.

We are looking for highly motivated data engineers to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that serve the needs of our large and growing advertiser base. You'll build systems that ensure timely, accurate, and trustworthy insight delivery — directly impacting thousands of users and billions in advertising spend. You'll work alongside senior engineers, scientists, and product managers in a fast-paced environment where data quality and reliability are first-class priorities.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of data integration, data pipelines and data lake solutions
- Implement scalable data models for serving data needs of analytics, business intelligence, engineering, and agentic workflows
- Collaborate with top-notch, multi-disciplinary technical professionals (e.g., Software Development Engineers, Data Engineers, and Product Managers) to deliver on behalf of customers
- Use your expertise to improve existing data pipelines running in Amazon data platform solutions Datanet/Cradle and AWS compute (Glue, EMR, Airflow)
- Actively contribute to team's documentation of data artifacts and learning
- Use introspection and feedback from teammates and peers to raise the bar for your team
- Be an example of Amazon's leadership principles and work to grow peers within your group

About the team
MINT builds foundational datasets and data services that power Amazon Advertising's insights platform (IHub). We own 300+ datasets with established data contracts, and operate a Data Quality, Transparency and Trust program ensuring our insights are accurate, timely, and explainable. Our infrastructure integrates with Ads platform systems and supports sales-facing experiences
