Role Summary
The Sr. Compensation Consultant provides strategic compensation support to the AWS organization throughout Latin America. The role partners with HR and business leaders on compensation strategies, program analysis and design, and solutions covering pay, incentives, and stock compensation.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with HR leadership and teams to develop and implement compensation strategies for multiple functional areas within AWS.
• Deliver on projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs.
• Write detailed and compelling papers to articulate the findings and recommendations from your analysis to a non-technical audience.
• Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs.
• Partner with regional and global compensation partners on local, regional or global issues, and work on a variety of special compensation projects as needed.
• Provide advice to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation.
• Consult with business on job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
• Document processes and build compensation playbooks.
• Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of finance, compensation or consulting experience- 5+ years of Human Resources, Compensation Management or Consulting experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Peoplesoft
- Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
