The Role
Do you enjoy solving complex problems, designing elegant solutions, and delivering innovative trading solutions in a fast-paced environment? If so, joining the Equity Product and Trading Solutions team at FCM may be the right opportunity for you. In this role, you will help drive the development and evolution of our core electronic trading platform, including order management and routing, FIX connectivity, data, and risk controls. The primary purpose of this role is to take part in driving and shaping the firm’s electronic trading infrastructure and be accountable for the entire product life cycle from planning to implementation and adoption. As an integral member of the product team, you will work closely with technology, trading consultants, operations, risk, compliance, legal, data science, and other internal partners to deliver resilient, scalable, and differentiated electronic trading solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear and actionable product and technology deliverables
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deadlines
- Strong understanding of the technical and operational components and workflows associated with electronic equity trading
- Self-starter who embraces pace over perfection and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented, positive, and forward-thinking, with a passion for building innovative trading solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
- Experience supporting system integrations, managing dependencies across teams, and coordinating implementation activities to ensure successful delivery of business and technology solutions
- Familiarity with electronic equity trading concepts and market structure (a plus, not required)
- Intellectually curious, with a strong desire for continuous learning
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hire

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
