Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated operations professional with experience in Collateral Management, Margin Processing, Mark-to-Market (MTM), Margin Settlements, and Reconciliations. The successful candidate will support the daily management of collateral obligations across OTC derivatives, securities financing, and other margining activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

The team you will be joining is part of Global Markets Operations, supporting the firm's collateral management activities across global markets. The team is responsible for mitigating counterparty credit risk through the timely exchange of collateral and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and contractual obligations.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Core Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor daily margin calls, collateral movements, and mark-to-market activities across OTC derivatives and securities financing products.
  • Calculate, issue, and respond to margin calls in accordance with relevant CSA, ISDA, GMRA, and other collateral agreements.
  • Monitor collateral settlements and ensure timely receipt and delivery of collateral assets and cash transfers.
  • Investigate and resolve margin call disputes, settlement breaks, and reconciliation exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily collateral reconciliations between internal systems and counterparties.
  • Liaise with counterparties, custodians, traders, treasury teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor aged margin calls and collateral balances, ensuring timely escalation of unresolved items.
  • Validate collateral eligibility, concentration limits, haircuts, and other collateral agreement requirements.
  • Support daily funding and cash management activities related to collateral movements.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and within defined service level agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for operational, audit, and regulatory purposes.
  • Assist with management reporting, operational metrics, and control reporting.
  • Support regulatory margin requirements and operational processes related to UMR, EMIR, CFTC, and other applicable regulations.
  • Identify processing issues and escalate risks, control breaches, or operational concerns to management promptly.
  • Participate in testing activities, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives as required.

  • Flexibility to work across global markets and time zones.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in Collateral Management, Margin Operations, OTC Derivatives Operations, Reconciliations, or Securities Finance Operations.
  • Working knowledge of collateral agreements including CSA, ISDA, and GMRA.
  • Understanding of margin methodologies, collateral management lifecycle, and counterparty credit risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as UMR, EMIR, CFTC, or equivalent regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting APAC, EMEA and/or North American markets is preferred
