ROLE SUMMARY


The Senior Associate, Windows & VDI End Point Engineering & Support is a hands-on engineering role responsible for the build, deployment, and operational support of the organization's global Windows and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) endpoint environment. This role delivers secure, reliable, and high-performing end-user computing experiences, supports large-scale modernization initiatives, and develops automation that improves fleet health and colleague productivity worldwide.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Engineer and maintain Windows operating system builds, provisioning workflows (e.g., Windows Autopilot), configuration policies, and security baselines.
  • Build and deploy application packages and manage patch and update rings using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Engineer and support VDI platforms and images, including capacity, profile management, and user experience optimization.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation for provisioning, remediation, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and root-cause analysis for complex Windows and VDI issues.
  • Monitor fleet health and digital experience telemetry to drive proactive remediation and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and maintain technical documentation and standards for engineering and support teams.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows endpoint engineering or enterprise desktop environments.
  • Expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune and/or Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Autopilot, and Group Policy.
  • Hands-on experience with VDI technologies (e.g., Citrix or cloud-hosted virtual desktops).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; strong knowledge of endpoint security fundamentals.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate) or Citrix certifications.
  • Experience in global enterprise environments and regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and digital employee experience (DEX) tooling.

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support global teams and initiatives.
