Meet the Team

Cisco Security is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead SASE product marketing and go-to-market strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product strategy, market creation, customer outcomes, and revenue growth.

SASE is entering a new phase. The first wave focused on connecting and securing users, branches, applications, and cloud resources. The next wave will be shaped by AI: autonomous agents, distributed workflows, dynamic access patterns, new data movement, and a need for zero trust enforcement everywhere work happens.

In this role, you will help Cisco define how customers transform the network into a secure, intelligent foundation for the agentic enterprise—modernizing the WAN, extending zero trust access, and applying agent gateway capabilities to safely connect and protect users, applications, workloads, data, and AI agents.

You will lead a senior product marketing team and partner deeply across Cisco Security, Networking, Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Analyst Relations, Customer Advocacy, Communications, and executive leadership. You will operate as a strategic connector between product innovation and commercial execution, translating Cisco capabilities into differentiated market narratives, high-confidence field activation, and measurable growth.

Your Impact

As a leader in this role, your product is the GTM system itself: the narrative, launches, sales plays, programs, customer proof, and field motions that determine how Cisco wins.

  • Own global product marketing and GTM strategy for Cisco SASE, including Secure Access, SD-WAN, SSE, Agent Gateway, and AI-native secure networking motions.
  • Define Cisco’s SASE messaging, positioning, narrative architecture, and differentiated value proposition for executive buyers, technical audiences, partners, analysts, and sellers.
  • Shape the market conversation around transforming the network for the agentic enterprise, including how secure connectivity, zero trust, traffic control, and agent gateway capabilities come together to enable safe AI adoption.
  • Drive launches, campaigns, sales plays, partner motions, executive engagement, and major market moments that create pipeline, bookings impact, competitive momentum, and customer confidence.
  • Partner with product management to connect roadmap innovation to customer outcomes, market demand, and revenue growth; bring market insight back into roadmap and packaging discussions.
  • Identify breakout GTM moves that help Cisco shape the SASE category rather than simply compete in it, including new audience strategies, new buying-center motions, and new customer proof points.
  • Build scalable enablement, messaging, content, competitive, and proof-point systems that help global teams execute with consistency and impact.
  • Use AI-native workflows to accelerate insight generation, messaging iteration, content creation, seller enablement, personalization, and measurement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of strategic clarity, accountability, creativity, collaboration, and measurable business impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience across product marketing, product management, technical marketing, product strategy, sales engineering, or GTM leadership in enterprise technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience leading product marketing, product, technical, or GTM teams with a track record of execution and team development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading GTM strategy for complex enterprise products, platforms, or portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to connect messaging, launch strategy, sales enablement, and marketing execution to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, networking, SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, zero trust, secure access, cloud security, identity, observability, or AI-related infrastructure/security markets.
  • Product management or product strategy background, with interest in applying product depth to GTM strategy and market creation.
  • Experience building executive-level thought leadership and differentiated category narratives.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization and influencing product, sales, marketing, partner, analyst, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with pipeline, bookings, win/loss, attach, adoption, competitive, and customer engagement metrics.
