Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Commercial Strategy & Product Monetization

Overview

The Network Products organization is transforming how Mastercard develops, commercializes, and scales its network capabilities. As the portfolio evolves, every product must have a clear customer value proposition, a sustainable monetization model, and a commercialization strategy that can be executed consistently across markets.

As the Senior Analyst, Commercial Strategy & Product Monetization, you will help shape the commercial strategy for emerging Network Product capabilities by translating product innovation into customer value, business impact, and monetization opportunities. Working across Product, Commercialization, Pricing, Finance, and Regional teams, you will identify insights, develop recommendations, build compelling business narratives, and help drive critical commercialization and monetization decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex commercial challenges and can influence diverse stakeholders to move from analysis to decision and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and support commercial strategy, monetization, and go-to-market initiatives across the Network Products portfolio.
• Partner with Product teams to translate product capabilities into customer value propositions, commercial opportunities, and scalable monetization approaches.
• Structure and solve complex commercial problems where the path forward is not always clearly defined.
• Build business cases, financial analyses, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Transform data, customer insights, and market inputs into clear and compelling narratives for executive audiences.
• Collaborate across Product, Regional, Commercial, Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Franchise teams to build alignment and drive execution.
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority and navigate diverse objectives to help reach commercial decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance pricing, packaging, commercialization, and adoption strategies based on customer, market, and performance insights.
• Develop executive-ready materials that simplify complex topics and support leadership decision-making.
• Operate effectively within a highly global and cross-functional environment, partnering with stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

All About You
• Experience in Commercial Strategy, Product Commercialization, Product Strategy, Business Development, Go-to-Market Strategy, Management Consulting, Monetization, Pricing Strategy, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience developing business cases, commercialization strategies, monetization approaches, pricing models, packaging strategies, or go-to-market recommendations for products, services, or commercial offerings.
• Ability to translate product capabilities, customer needs, and market opportunities into clear commercial strategies and revenue opportunities.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Finance, Sales, Regional, or Strategy organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience evaluating customer value, business impact, market opportunities, and commercial trade-offs.
• Experience developing executive presentations, strategic recommendations, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business challenges and identify the key questions that need to be solved.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with experience driving alignment and decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into compelling commercial narratives and executive recommendations.
• Experience operating in highly matrixed organizations and driving outcomes without direct authority.
• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
