About the role
Original posting provided by amazon
We're looking for a Sr. Ad Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of our paid social program across platforms (ex Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Youtube). Sitting at the intersection of marketing, creative, and technology, you'll be the primary liaison to our tech partners to unlock, test, and scale new ad formats and capabilities. You'll turn strategy into executable, measurable campaigns: partnering with social media apps (SMAs) to run experiments, safeguarding channel health across platforms, and making sure creative, tagging, site experiences, and ad formats are launch-ready and performing. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives on ambiguous, end-to-end operational problems, sets the standards and processes others follow, and continuously raises the bar on campaign performance at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the operational bridge between marketing, creative, and tech, driving ad enablement, site flips, and new format rollouts end-to-end.
Partner with SMAs to unlock and test new ad formats, acting as the primary liaison with tech teams to scope, prioritize, and enable experiments from concept through launch.
Manage SMA operations to ensure channel health and operational readiness across platforms, including account structure, permissions, tagging/tracking, and compliance.
Partner with channel owners to optimize live campaigns, surfacing performance insights and operational levers that improve efficiency and outcomes.
Own the operational side of tracking and data hygiene so campaign reporting is accurate and trustworthy.
Define, document, and continuously improve the ad operations playbook (intake, QA, launch checklists, troubleshooting), raising the bar for operational excellence.
Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks; act as the escalation point for ad delivery, trafficking, and technical issues, coordinating rapid resolution to protect spend and performance.
Manage relationships with relevant ad tech vendors, staying ahead of beta programs, new capabilities, and policy changes
