Key job responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of data center technicians, including onboarding new hires, conducting regular one-on-one conversations, setting development goals, and providing actionable performance feedback.
- Manage daily facility operations by auditing work queues, monitoring service level agreement adherence, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safe, efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
- Prioritize and assign work across routine operations, capacity projects, and emergency response, making real-time trade-off decisions between time and resources to meet operational targets.
- Identify and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and procedures that raise quality standards and reduce operational risk, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Attract, hire, and retain bar-raising talent while maintaining an inclusive team environment where every member feels valued, informed, and connected to the team's mission.
A day in the life

You will walk the data center floor, checking equipment health and verifying that safety protocols are followed. Throughout the shift you will coach technicians through troubleshooting scenarios, approve maintenance procedures, and escalate issues that need broader support. Between operational tasks you will hold one-on-ones, update capacity trackers, and collaborate with partner teams on upcoming projects.
