Summary
The PR Manager will help drive global communications for Beats. Working with PR teams in the US and internationally, you will develop and implement strategic media and social-first PR initiatives that connect with consumers and place Beats at the center of culture—spanning music, sports, fashion, entertainment, and consumer technology.
Description
Candidates should possess strong media relations expertise across tech, consumer and lifestyle verticals, alongside proven experience driving organic collaborations with digital creators and cultural tastemakers. Demonstrated success leading consumer hardware product launches, managing PR agency partners, and executing high-impact momentum campaigns is imperative. Experience concepting and supporting experiential, social-first events and media briefings is essential.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and manage relationships with a diverse network of media, digital creators, and cultural influencers across technology, lifestyle, entertainment, music, and sports.
Develop PR strategy and high-impact earned media tactics for Beats product launches, brand moments, and ongoing momentum campaigns.
Draft compelling press materials, product messaging, media pitches, executive briefing documents, and Keynote presentations.
Concept and lead the execution of press and creator events—from intimate product briefings to large-scale experiential brand moments that drive earned conversation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Beats and Apple to support launch moments and develop integrated momentum strategies.
Partner with international PR teams and manage external agency partners to ensure global alignment, cultural resonance, and flawless execution across key regional markets.
Monitor, analyze, and report on earned media coverage, media value, and industry trends to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Deliver work that is on-strategy, on-time, and to the highest standard, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Challenge the status quo by finding creative, non-traditional ways to champion the Beats narrative across emerging platforms, creator networks, and cultural channels.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism, with significant experience in consumer products (3+ years in-house corporate PR preferred).
Demonstrated track record of building and sustaining relationships across consumer tech, lifestyle, entertainment, or culture-focused media.
Experience managing external PR agencies and collaborating with international teams.
BS/BA degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep passion for and authentic connection to the intersection of sound, technology, sports, fashion, and youth culture.
Proven experience executing high-visibility consumer hardware or electronics launches and experiential brand events.
Strong familiarity with earned media value tracking, social listening tools, and media measurement platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and narrative craft.
Proficient in Keynote and Numbers, with an ability to build polished presentations and clear, data-informed reporting for leadership.
Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and project management skills; comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and fast-moving launch cycles.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative, creative, and ever-evolving environment.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,600 and $215,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
