Full Stack Tech Lead

 

Role overview: Modern engineering at Azure scale, with AI changing how we build — that's the space this role sits in. As a Full Stack Tech Lead, you'll stay hands-on while setting the technical direction for enterprise-scale applications: guiding standards, solution quality and delivery across the full development lifecycle, and bringing AI-assisted engineering into how your team works.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale applications, providing hands-on leadership and technical direction throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Build solutions using .NET, C#, modern front-end frameworks and Azure platform services.
• Set the bar for engineering standards and quality — and bring the team with you.
• Design and support RESTful APIs, integration patterns, database solutions and reusable components.
• Implement CI/CD, infrastructure configuration, monitoring and operational readiness in an agile DevSecOps environment.
• Resolve complex technical issues, manage engineering risks and mentor development team members.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, UX specialists and client stakeholders.

Own your workstreams end-to-end, from design through to production, keeping risks and dependencies under control.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams or technical workstreams, influencing stakeholders and managing delivery across multiple priorities
• Experience leading a development workstream and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Significant full-stack engineering experience with .NET Core, C#, Web APIs and a modern JavaScript or TypeScript framework.
• Strong experience with Azure services such as App Service, Functions, API Management, Key Vault and Azure SQL.
• Strong understanding of secure software architecture, automated quality assurance, performance engineering, observability and operational excellence.

Desirable: React or Angular, Containers, Kubernetes (AKS), Event-driven architecture, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, Application Modernisation, AI Services, AI-assisted development, Azure developer certifications
