FX Options Correlation Trader

Citi is looking for an FX Options Correlation Trader to join its New York trading desk and manage a book spanning correlation trading, structured derivatives and multi-currency payoffs. In this role, you will price and trade complex structured products, manage risk across a diverse set of underlyings, and work closely with sales and research teams to grow the franchise. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a specialized trading book while operating within one of the largest global markets platforms, and Citi is open to considering candidates at either the VP or AVP level.  

 

Responsibilities

• Trade a correlation and structured derivatives book, delivering on revenue targets while actively managing risk.
• Price and execute structured derivatives with multi-currency payoffs across a broad range of underlying assets.
• Apply exotics trading knowledge to structure and manage complex client transactions.
• Partner with sales, research and other trading desks to anticipate client demand and shape product strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to source and deliver trades to the desk.
• Guide desk analysts on trade structuring and execution to support franchise growth.
• Work alongside Legal, Compliance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Audit and Finance to maintain strong governance and control standards.
• Evaluate the risk and reward of each transaction, factoring in the firm's reputation and regulatory obligations.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience trading correlation products or structured derivatives.
• Working knowledge of the relevant products, markets and client base.
• Any licenses or registrations required for trading activity in this role.
• Advanced analytical and numerical skills applied to complex trade structuring.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to assess trading situations and identify suitable counterparties.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, booking systems and standard trading protocols.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

 

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing a large number of underlying assets within a single book.
• Background in exotics trading.
• Experience structuring multi-currency payoff products.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$60,800.00 - $263,760.00
