Job Description

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our LinkedIn Talent Solutions Deal Desk across APAC and EMEAL, setting regional strategy, developing a distributed team, and partnering with Sales and cross-functional leaders to turn complex deals into executable commercial strategies. This role owns business outcomes, seller experience, operational performance, and the shift toward a proactive, AI-enabled and scalable operating model. The leader will balance regional priorities with global consistency and ensure Deal Desk expertise is focused where it creates the greatest customer and commercial value.

Regional Scope

APAC. Lead support across diverse markets and time zones, including India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, and other supported portfolios. Partner with APAC Sales on enterprise and global-account opportunities, renewal and retention motions, and market-specific pricing or approval needs. Connect Bangalore, in-region teams, vendors, Pricing Operations and Technology partners; strengthen cross-region handoffs; and ensure APAC requirements shape global processes, tools and policies.

EMEAL. Lead support across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, spanning mature, growth and venture markets. Partner with Sales on growth, renewals, retention, Enterprise Program conversion, pricing flexibility and multi-country or multi-product deals. Continue the move from reactive case support to proactive consultation and earlier engagement, while balancing vendor scale with clear in-house ownership of sensitive or strategically important work.

Leadership Expectations

  • Build and communicate a clear regional strategy linked to Sales priorities, team purpose and measurable outcomes.

  • Deliver results that improve commercial impact, decision quality, seller experience and sustainable capacity.

  • Transform team performance through inclusive leadership, direct coaching, accountability and development.

  • Role-model commercial mastery and sound judgment while staying close enough to the work to coach credibly.

  • Lead with trust, care, inclusion, accountability and a One LinkedIn mindset across regions and functions.

Measures of Success

  • Clear regional priorities, ownership and operating rhythms aligned to global Deal Desk goals.

  • Fewer handoffs, earlier support and more predictable decision paths for Sales.

  • Measurable improvement in retention, growth, conversion, deal quality, response time, rework and satisfaction.

  • Additional capacity from automation, vendors and self-service without weakening controls or strategic partnership.

  • Stronger managers, clear career paths and regional insight that shapes global policy, process and technology.

Responsabilities:

  • Regional strategy and results: Translate global priorities into clear APAC and EMEAL plans, measures and accountabilities. Deliver commercial impact, stronger consultation coverage, deal velocity, quality and seller experience. Establish operating rhythms that keep regional execution connected to global Deal Desk goals.

  • People leadership: Lead and develop managers and individual contributors across a distributed team. Set clear expectations, strengthen coaching, build succession plans and create visible development paths. Build an inclusive, accountable culture in which leaders make sound decisions and teams continuously improve.

  • Sales partnership and commercial judgment: Act as the senior Deal Desk partner to regional Sales leadership. Engage early on high-value, high-risk or complex opportunities and guide new business, renewals, retention, pricing flexibility, exceptions and complex structures. Turn commercial ambiguity into clear options, recommendations and decision paths.

  • Operating model: Simplify the seller journey through One Desk, clear ownership, tiered support, reliable regional handoffs and escalation paths. Improve coordination across Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Revenue, Product and Engineering. Remove recurring friction and clarify ownership across the deal lifecycle.

  • AI, automation and vendors: Move repeatable work to automation, agents, vendors or seller self-service while retaining human judgment and quality controls for sensitive decisions. Own regional vendor capacity, readiness, service quality and continuous improvement. Use these levers to create sustainable capacity for proactive consultation and complex work.

  • Insights and change readiness: Use trusted data and regional scorecards to identify performance, process and capacity issues. Represent Deal Desk in product, pricing, policy and workflow launches, surfacing regional requirements early, testing operational feasibility and ensuring team readiness.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years in Deal Desk, commercial, sales, pricing, revenue or quote-to-cash operations.

  • 5+ years of people management experience, demonstrating the ability to  lead and manage diverse teams across various geographical locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with senior Sales and cross-functional leaders across regions and converting strategy into measurable execution.

  • Strong commercial judgment across complex deals, pricing, approvals, policy, risk and operational trade-offs.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence without direct authority.

  • Preferred: APAC and EMEAL leadership; recurring-revenue business; vendor or shared-services operations; AI, automation, workflow redesign, self-service, reporting and capacity planning.

Suggested Skills

  • Leadership
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Collaboration
