About the Role
Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Functional Consultant / Manager to help organizations transform and optimize their source-to-pay processes through innovative SAP Ariba solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technology specialists to deliver end-to-end procurement and supply chain transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and business value.
The successful candidate will lead functional design activities, provide strategic advisory support, and oversee SAP Ariba implementations while contributing to business development and capability growth within Accenture.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions across Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Ariba solutions.
• Drive workshops with stakeholders to define business processes, future-state operating models, and solution roadmaps.
• Provide expertise in SAP Ariba modules such as Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), Catalog Management, and Guided Buying.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design integrations between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise systems.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support user acceptance testing, training, change management activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Contribute to business development initiatives including solutioning, proposal preparation, client presentations, and thought leadership.
• Mentor junior consultants and support the growth of SAP procurement and supply chain capabilities within Accenture.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP Ariba consulting experience for Consultant level; 10 years for Manager level.
• Hands-on experience implementing one or more SAP Ariba modules including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Guided Buying, or Catalog Management.
• Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, accounts payable, and source-to-pay business processes.
• Experience in conducting requirements gathering workshops and preparing functional specifications.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA integration with SAP Ariba solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP Ariba certification(s).
• Experience in SAP Business Network implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Fieldglass and/or SAP Concur solutions.
• Experience leading regional or global transformation programs.
• Exposure to procurement digital transformation, operating model design, and process optimization initiatives.
• Experience in people leadership, coaching, and team management.
