We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.

Apple’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team is growing and we are seeking a motivated, adaptable professional to join our mission of safeguarding the environment, health, and safety of employees, customers, and global communities while supporting partners in the regions where our retail locations operate.

Description

We are recruiting an EHS Project Manager to support our retail portfolio. This role will oversee multiple programs to ensure consistency across the fleet. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, meticulous attention to the details, and the ability to drive change. Responsibilities

Oversee the Universal and Hazardous waste program and ensure all appropriate documentation, such as manifests and invoices, meets regulatory compliance.
Support annual regulatory review to ensure programs are exceed all applicable federal and local requirements.
Complete quarterly applicability reviews for legislative changes for all AMR countries.
Develop, maintain, and share critical waste metrics that tracks the success of the each program.
Support EHS Leads as necessary for all waste regulatory agency inspections
Support global waste initiatives as assigned.
Support other projects and programs as assigned.
Partner with EHS Leads across the GEO to train stores on effective waste management expectations

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of EHS or related experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience in developing, maintaining, and implementing written EHS programs and processes, tools, and materials.
Ability to travel including overnights as required.
Work and respond to business-critical needs, including nights and weekends as required.

Highly self-motivated and self-leading.
Apple retail experience.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
A people-oriented leadership style that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
A proactive, outspoken sense of urgency to problem solving.
Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

Pay & Benefits — San Jose, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,900 and $172,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
