Must have skills:

• Advanced SQL development on Google BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, query tuning, and cost-aware design
• Working proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and operational scripting
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for repositories, work item tracking, branching, and releases
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud deployments
• PostgreSQL (PSQL) experience, including query writing, replication concepts, and Change Data Capture (CDC) configuration
• Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Debezium connectors for streaming change events

Job Summary:

• Design, build, and optimise BigQuery SQL queries, views, and datasets for analytics and downstream consumption
• Automate recurring data, platform, and housekeeping tasks using Python
• Manage source control, work items, and release pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Plan and execute scheduled and ad hoc rotation of external GCP service accounts and keys
• Configure and support CDC from PostgreSQL sources, including replication slots, publications, and WAL settings
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Debezium connectors, resolving replication lag, schema drift, and connector failures
• Provide production support through monitoring, incident triage, root cause analysis, and runbook upkeep
• Adhere to Accenture/CIO standards as they evolve

• Comfortable working independently in an Agile delivery model, including estimation and progress tracking
• Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and business stakeholders
• Documentation discipline across runbooks, design notes, and handover material
• Collaborative approach to peer review, pairing, and knowledge sharing within the team
