Within the Services organization, this role sits within the Business & Markets Insights (BMI) organization. The Business & Market Insights vertical is focused on creating products and solutions that create value for customers through Analytics, Insights, Business Experimentation, and Payment Consulting & Innovation.
Under BMI, Payment Performance Intelligence Program's Global Product Management team is seeking an accomplished technology-focused Product Manager to support the evolution of its products to include AI intelligence. This person will be part of a team of product managers that oversee key activities including execution of the AI product strategy, management of the roadmap, shaping the product platform architecture and the creation of technical requirements.
This individual will partner closely with other members of the Global Product Management team including data scientists to support development of Gen AI chatbot use cases & agentic services and ensuring product priorities are well-aligned with strategic objectives. This individual will also be the key collaborator with the Platform team to shape the long-term vision for the product and ensure efficient development execution.
Role
• Support the definition and execution of the AI product roadmap for Payment Performance Intelligence, contributing to strategy and investment discussions led by senior product leadership.
• Own delivery of assigned AI product areas end to end, from discovery and requirements through development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• Help identify and validate high-value use cases for GenAI, chatbots, agentic services, predictive insights, and self-service analytics.
• Translate customer needs, market inputs, and business objectives into clear user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Work day to day with Data Science, Engineering, and Platform teams to groom the backlog, unblock dependencies, and maintain sprint velocity.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Risk, Legal, Security, and Compliance partners to ensure products meet regulatory and responsible AI requirements.
• Recommend prioritization based on customer value, commercial impact, technical feasibility, and effort, escalating trade-offs where needed.
• Define and track success metrics for owned features, reporting progress, risks, and adoption to stakeholders.
• Prepare and present roadmap updates, demos, and release communications to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
• Mentor junior product managers and associates, and contribute to improving agile practices and product documentation standards across the team.
All About You
• Solid experience in agile product management for analytics, data insights, AI-enabled, or financial services products.
• Working knowledge of GenAI use cases, predictive insights, self-service analytics, and the data foundations required to support them.
• Demonstrated ability to convert customer problems into requirements, user stories, and measurable product outcomes.
• Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, Risk, Legal, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating with a degree of ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mentoring or guiding peers and junior team members is preferred; formal people management experience is not required.
• Highly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail in backlog management and delivery tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience required; technical background, payments experience, or product certification preferred.
