Role summary: The Investor Services Vice President will oversee LP correspondence, escalation management, onboarding review, operational controls, reporting, and communication across various business units.   The role will serve as a central point of coordination across teams, with responsibility for improving operational efficiency, strengthening governance, and ensuring timely follow-up on matters impacting priority LP relationships.  The Vice President will partner closely with various teams to ensure consistent communication, strong controls, accurate reporting, and a high-quality investor servicing experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-priority and time-sensitive investor service matters across the Blackstone platform, coordinating with business units, internal stakeholders, and leadership to ensure prompt, accurate, and well-communicated resolution.
  • Review and manage daily investor communications, escalations, outstanding requests, and open items impacting priority LP relationships, ensuring clear ownership, timely follow-up, and consistent service delivery.
  • Validate and review LP onboarding documentation, operational requirements, internal standards, and applicable SLA expectations across business units to ensure onboarding activities are complete, accurate, and appropriately controlled.
  • Ensure LP transfer requests are properly validated, processed, and reflected accurately in internal reporting systems, working with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies or outstanding items.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on open matters, flagging potential risks, delays, or service issues to leadership as appropriate.
  • Identify recurring issues, process breakdowns, and operational pain points, and recommend practical enhancements to reduce future escalations, improve consistency, and strengthen the overall LP servicing model.
  • Drive automation opportunities and AI-driven solutions within the team to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Design, implement, and maintain maker-checker control models.
  • Analyze operational trends, service metrics, recurring themes, and areas requiring attention or improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to review control gaps, enhance governance practices, support compliance alignment, maintain audit readiness, and promote transparency across investor services processes.
  • Assist with publishing duties for all LP related correspondence.

 

Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with 10 - 15 years of experience, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant investor services, fund operations, private markets operations, or financial services experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Limited Partner servicing, onboarding, transfers, escalation management, and operational workflows.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple business units, functions, stakeholders, and locations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to review trends, metrics, and operational performance data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong control mindset and focus on accuracy, governance, and audit readiness.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across multiple levels, functions, and locations.
  • Experience working with technology teams or internal stakeholders to improve automation, reporting, and manual processes preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates to senior stakeholders and leadership.
