Job Description
Job Summary
Digital Sales is at the forefront of Visa’s sales organization, playing a pivotal role in building stronger relationships with clients and scaling the business. The Digital Sales Representative 2 is responsible for owning and managing relationships with a large territory of longtail Tier 3 accounts as a full sales cycle seller. The role drives sales, upsell, and cross-sell activities across all Visa products and solutions, utilizing virtual engagement and system touchpoints. The position leverages best-in-class sales technology and data analytics to craft tailored solutions for clients and unlock new opportunities.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with a large territory of accounts as a full sales cycle seller.
- Drive sales, upsell, and cross-sell in a comprehensive selling motion across all Visa products and solutions, including virtual engagement and system touchpoints.
- Apply knowledge of Visa products and offerings to enable business goals or overcome business challenges, maintaining customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Manage current accounts, identify new account opportunities, maintain account plans, and create presentation materials for all levels of the client organization.
- Forecast sales and maintain knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring sales tools are utilized and maintained regularly.
- Participate in client communications and develop and deliver client presentations using phone, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and webcasts.
- Maintain industry trend knowledge and government regulations that may affect the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the digital sales team to develop new business strategies and tactics.
- Participate in ongoing digital sales trainings.
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs.
- Effectively communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in a sales role or related field with a focus on direct client sales.
- Experience in using digital sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience in communicating basic concepts and exchanging ideas and account information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in managing multiple accounts and maintaining account plans.
- Experience in developing and delivering client presentations using digital tools.
- Experience in collaborating with sales teams to develop business strategies.
- Experience in maintaining industry trend knowledge relevant to sales.
- Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Experience in maintaining knowledge of government regulations affecting sales territories.
- Experience in engaging and selling to C-level decision-makers in B2B environments.
- Experience in a full-cycle sales role with a focus on direct client sales.
- Experience in communicating Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions.
- Experience in using advanced digital sales analytics and reporting tools.
