Principal Associate, Project Manager - Entertainment Experiences

The Premium Products & Experiences team has a strong focus on expansion of our premium customer value proposition and delivering engaging customer experiences and access events to our cardholders. Our team is fast-paced and growing. 


We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Capital One Entertainment team. The Entertainment Product team manages the digital experience of Capital One Entertainment, a key benefit we provide our customers at the top of the market. As a Project Manager and Operations SME, you influence and collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and structure new processes, ensure we stay extremely well managed, and support our customer servicing team. You will also be responsible for carrying out processes that are critical to keeping our program well managed. These may range from ensuring customers are charged and refunded accurately, to putting structure around a complex project.

General Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own oversight of process improvement work and collaborate with teammates on larger initiatives
  • Identify, strategize, and implement process improvements
  • Monitor the execution of processes
  • Track and resolve process breakdowns
  • Develop and maintain formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams
  • Act as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

The ideal candidate will:

  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills, essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Process or Project Management  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Process or Project Management  
  • 1+ years of Compliance or Risk Management experience
  • 1+ years of Relationship Management experience
  • 1+ years of Customer Servicing experience
  • Proficient in G Suite

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
