The Mojang web team is looking for a Software Engineer II who is passionate about modern, delightful web experiences in service of the most popular game in the world: Minecraft! As a software engineer on Minecraft Web team, you will work closely with studio teams to bring Minecraft's whimsy to hundreds of millions of players on the web. You will practice mature engineering and prioritize responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability while partnering across disciplines and other teams to bring delightful, Minecrafty product experiences to life.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience building web applications using Web UI framework such as React, TypeScript, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- 2+ years experience consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
- 2+ years experience using source control systems such as Git and troubleshooting and debugging web applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of modern web development concepts, including responsive design, browser fundamentals, and web application architecture

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
