As a Product Manager, Rare Disease within our Specialty Care Canada organization, you will play a critical role in advancing Sanofi's mission to transform the lives of people living with rare diseases. You will help shape and execute brand strategies for innovative therapies, drive commercial performance, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to bringing future pipeline assets to patients across Canada.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science, strategy, and patient impact. You will collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Public Affairs, Sales, and Patient Advocacy teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for patients while supporting the continued growth of Sanofi's Rare Disease business.
Rare Disease is one of Sanofi's three strategic pillars, alongside Immunology and Vaccines. Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategy for assigned rare disease products across the product lifecycle, ensuring commercial plans are grounded in deep customer, patient, and market insights.
- Drive business performance and brand growth by translating strategic priorities into actionable tactical plans, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize outcomes for patients and Sanofi.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Public Affairs, Patient Support Programs, and Sales, to ensure seamless execution of brand plans and launch activities.
- Support launch readiness planning for pipeline assets, helping shape the market, identify patient opportunities, and prepare the organization for successful product introductions in Canada.
- Engage with healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and key stakeholders to deepen disease understanding, identify unmet needs, and ensure strategies reflect the realities of Canadian patients and healthcare systems.
- Leverage market research, analytics, and real-world evidence to generate insights that inform strategic decisions, strengthen value propositions, and support reimbursement and access discussions.
- Collaborate with global teams to adapt global strategies to the Canadian environment, ensuring local relevance while maintaining alignment with broader franchise objectives.
- Manage tactical execution and agency partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all internal and external requirements.
- Monitor the competitive and policy environment to identify emerging opportunities and risks, proactively recommending actions that strengthen Sanofi's leadership position in rare diseases
- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), real-world data, and emerging technologies to generate actionable insights, enhance customer engagement, improve decision-making, and identify new opportunities to accelerate patient identification, access, and brand performance.
