Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Develop and automate pricing systems that scale the organization and validating large volumes of master data related to Apple-branded and third-party products. Master the complete end-to-end system flow of pricing-related data, from Executive Team approval, to customer-facing Apple storefronts. Work with cross-functional business partners as well as internal team members to manage country and channel offerings, localize product assortments, and implement various pricing related data elements. Understand data flows and system interfaces in multiple systems in order to successfully manage his processes and providing support to downstream business partners. Act as a strategic member or leader of several systems, process improvement, and strategic business initiatives. Work with internal IT team to convert complex business requirements to technical artifacts. Participate during User Acceptance testing and get the sign-off for each module. Working with the internal Support Team during troubleshooting and fixing critical issues. 40 hours/week.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
Utilizing SQL for data mining, including writing database queries, developing Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures
Utilizing standard or custom ERP systems to support pricing operations.
Translating design requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Analyzing business requirement documents and capturing enhancement requests after software releases
Leading business process re-engineering initiatives, defining scope, milestones, and managing project timelines and implementation.
Utilizing GitHub for source code management
Utilizing the pricing domain and overall technical skills, such as Python and Oracle SQL, for the pricing tools used to develop solutions needed to implement and validate the pricing.
Utilizing Excel techniques for analyzing the trend in price changes and reporting
Performing validation and user acceptance testing for business process
Supporting the internal support team in case of priority issues
