Amazon's Corporate Development team is looking for an Executive Assistant to join us and partner with a Vice President while collaborating with team members across the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and keep the team running smoothly. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with sound judgement even in instances of ambiguity. This person must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage a complex and dynamic calendar for a Vice President
- Process expense reports
- Coordinate global schedules, travel arrangements, and seamless meeting logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and external meetings.
- Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute team events, on-sites/offsites, and morale activities - managing logistics end to end including space allocation, catering, and vendor coordination.
- Catering and supply orders
- Collaborate with a team of Executive Assistants - sharing best practices to help improve cross-team processes and day-to-day efficiency.

About the team
Amazon's Corporate Development team is responsible for mergers, acquisitions, and investments across all of Amazon's businesses. We partner with business units, senior leadership, and external companies to uncover new opportunities and potential partnerships. Notable acquisitions include MGM Studios, Whole Foods, One Medical, Ring, and Audible.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
