You Are:

An Associate Director-level Life Sciences consulting leader who combines commercial and CRM transformation expertise with sales origination, technology strategy, solution architecture, delivery leadership, and executive client influence. You bring deep Salesforce and Veeva experience, understand the end-to-end commercial ecosystem, and can convert client priorities into scalable programs that improve field effectiveness, customer engagement, data-driven decision-making, compliance, and operational performance. You are equally comfortable creating a market opportunity, leading the sales cycle, shaping the solution, and remaining accountable for successful delivery and growth.

The Work:

  • Advise and influence senior clients: Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior commercial, sales, marketing, medical, data, and technology leaders; lead executive workshops; define transformation strategies and roadmaps; and create new buying centers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations.
  • Originate and close opportunities: Identify client needs, build qualified pipeline, shape differentiated value propositions, and lead the full sales cycle from origination and qualification through solutioning, pricing, contracting, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead strategic pursuits: Own complex proposals and RFPs end to end, including win strategy, competitive positioning, commercial models, estimates, staffing, executive presentations, alliance participation, and transition from pursuit to delivery.
  • Transform commercial and CRM capabilities: Define and deliver programs spanning customer engagement, field force effectiveness, omnichannel orchestration, commercial operations, medical engagement, data and analytics, content enablement, and managed services.
  • Lead global delivery: Direct complex programs from strategy and architecture through implementation, release planning, migration, validation, deployment, adoption, and transition to application managed services, with accountability for scope, quality, risk, schedule, financial performance, and business outcomes.
  • Apply data and AI: Identify and scale practical AI, machine learning, and automation use cases across targeting, next-best action, customer insights, field productivity, release operations, service management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Build high-performing teams: Lead large, multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams; develop leaders; strengthen succession and retention; set clear accountability; and step into critical delivery issues when needed.
  • Grow the practice and ecosystem: Develop offerings, accelerators, reference architectures, and thought leadership; build Salesforce and Veeva alliance relationships; lead joint go-to-market motions; and collaborate effectively across account, industry, capability, technology, data/AI, and operations leadership.

Here’s What You Need

  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, including substantial Life Sciences consulting, commercial operations, CRM, technology, or digital transformation experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading enterprise commercial or CRM transformation programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device organizations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience delivering Salesforce and/or Veeva solutions, with strong knowledge of Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, Salesforce LSC, and the broader Life Sciences commercial technology ecosystem.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in independently originating opportunities and leading complex sales cycles, strategic proposals, and RFPs end to end, including solution shaping, pricing, commercial negotiation, and close.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building senior executive relationships and translating client priorities into measurable business outcomes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of developing differentiated solutions that combine business transformation, emerging technology, data, AI, automation, and new service models to expand client value beyond traditional systems integration and application managed services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leading large, multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams and developing senior talent through coaching, performance management, retention, and succession planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points If

  • Deep recent experience with Vault CRM, Vault Platform, Salesforce LSC, and Salesforce solutions supporting Life Sciences commercial organizations.
  • Experience leading Veeva migrations, global CRM deployments, release planning, validation, data migration, integration, adoption, and ongoing platform modernization.
  • Experience running application managed services organizations and improving service quality, automation, productivity, margin, and client satisfaction.
  • Experience with commercial data platforms, HCP and HCO data, targeting and segmentation, next-best action, omnichannel engagement, field analytics, and AI-enabled customer insights.
  • Experience establishing or scaling consulting offerings, practices, Centers of Excellence, alliance motions, or technology capability groups.
  • Salesforce, Veeva, cloud, architecture, data, or AI certifications relevant to Life Sciences commercial transformation.
