Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

Join our world-class Global Foundation Recruiting team, renowned for its dedication to excellence and innovation in talent acquisition. We are a dynamic, fun and passionate group, committed to building a diverse and high-performing workforce that propels our mission forward. As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of our business, we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, working closely with leaders globally to shape their hiring strategies.

Our team is focused on attracting the best talent of this generation, ensuring that we not only meet our strategic goals but also foster an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive, have fun and support each other. Together, we are setting the standard for recruiting excellence at Airbnb.

The Difference You Will Make:

Your main responsibility will be to successfully bring searches to fruition and deliver exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring managers across our CBO function, with additional support for hiring across our corporate functions. Our team takes a consultative approach, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Dedicated to sourcing and hiring top talent in the market, we ensure that every individual interacting with Airbnb's recruitment process feels valued and supported.

A Typical Day:

  • Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level — across our CBO function (sales, business development, partnerships and other commercial/revenue-generating roles) and our corporate functions (such as Finance, Legal, People, Marketing and Communications).
Build pipeline for multiple requisitions across both CBO and corporate teams and geographies, flexing your approach to meet the needs of each function and establishing a strong diverse top of funnel.
  • Partner with talent partners, hiring managers, talent operations and finance to build hiring strategy and plan.
  • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices, and decision making.

  • Represent Airbnb with integrity and professionalism. Speak passionately and authentically about Airbnb and our mission.

Your Expertise:

  • 5 - 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with proven success recruiting for both revenue-generating roles (Sales, Business Development, Partnerships) and corporate/G&A functions (Finance, Legal, People, Marketing, Communications). You're comfortable moving between very different talent markets and calibrating a new hiring bar quickly.
  • Experience operating in a high-velocity, high-volume recruiting environment, able to manage a large, fast-moving requisition load while maintaining a high bar and speed to close.
  • Experience recruiting across international markets in EMEA

Our Commitment To Inclusion & Belonging:

Airbnb is committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible. We believe diverse ideas foster innovation and engagement, and allow us to attract creatively-led people, and to develop the best products, services and solutions. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.

Reasonable Accommodations: We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process for applicants with disabilities. If you need assistance, or an accommodation, please let your recruiter know once you are contacted about a role.

A Note on Recruiting Scams: Scammers sometimes pose as Airbnb recruiters to get money or personal information from candidates. A few things that will always be true for Airbnb’s hiring process: our open roles are posted on Airbnb’s Career’s Page at careers.airbnb.com, and our recruiters correspond only from @airbnb.com or @ext.airbnb.com email addresses. Our recruiters will never ask for your Social Security number, bank account details, passport, or payment app information while you are interviewing.  We’ll also never ask you to pay a fee, send money, deposit or cash a check, or purchase work-related equipment (such as a company laptop) during the interview process. We encourage candidates to remain vigilant of these recruiting scams and not share sensitive information if you do not believe an individual is actually affiliated with Airbnb.
