Job Description

Support new business and market opportunities and business plans. Responsibilities may include market analysis for the product, researching requirements of the marketplace, and supporting consistency of the new product with the organization's image and objectives. May function as a resource that interacts with systems, marketing, and sales in the product development stage. Supports long-term plans, new technologies, and industry-leading trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Head of Solutions Delivery for KSA, Bahrain and Oman, reporting to the GCC Head of Solutions Delivery, you will be responsible for products sales and deployment across KSA, Bahrain and Oman managing the primary objective of generating card fees, benefits resell and other Visa revenues by driving affluent card issuance and retention, customizing value propositions across the segments and overall positioning Visa as the preferred choice of network partners by Issuers and the brand of choice by consumers. 
  • This is a critical role within the GCC products organization and will actively contribute to the overall development of the product function and Visa business. 
  • You will also have oversight over Solutions Delivery team in the KSA, Bahrain and Oman cluster. 
  • A significant element of this role will be the ability to generate thought leadership around consumer products, and requires you to work closely with markets, key issuers and other existing and potential clients and partners to drive acquisition, profitable usage, payment volume and revenue. This includes, but is not limited to, development of consumer segmentation strategies, portfolio optimization, upgrades, performance tracking, channel diversification, promoting Visa Digital solutions and innovations and driving greater cross-border and e-commerce volume. 
  • You will need to combine your product management experience with your awareness of client needs to increase customer engagement with their Visa account, driving usage and preference. 
  • You will have demonstrable success at working effectively across matrixed organizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Experience in developing and executing business development strategies in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in payments, transaction banking, financial advisory, or SaaS, having performed product sales and/or client-facing commercialization roles.
  • Experience in cross-border account payments and with payment networks.
  • Experience in developing domestic or cross-border payment flows business within growing markets.
  • Experience in stakeholder education and training delivery.
  • Experience in mobile, API, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience in business development, sales, and deal structuring.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing.
  • Experience in managing delivery of large technology projects, especially with direct oversight for delivery.
