Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced senior leader to serve as the Coimbatore Site Lead, providing leadership across State Street functions represented at the location.

The successful candidate will bring a strong executive presence, an enterprise mindset, and the ability to lead and influence across a complex global organization. The role will focus on site strategy and governance, talent and culture, risk and resiliency, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and the continued evolution of the Coimbatore location.

The role will support leadership and talent development, cross-functional collaboration, risk and resiliency, governance, and stakeholder engagement, helping the location deliver effectively for our clients and the broader enterprise.


What you will be responsible for


  • Provide enterprise leadership for the Coimbatore site, driving site strategy, governance, and collaboration across functions.
  • Lead the talent and employee agenda, focusing on engagement, leadership development, succession, internal mobility, and future-ready capabilities.
  • Champion risk, controls, resiliency, and workplace readiness, ensuring strong governance and proactive management of site-level priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with India and global stakeholders, support client and leadership engagements, and represent State Street with relevant industry, academic, and community partners.
  • Support the continued evolution of site capabilities by simplifying ways of working and strengthening cross-functional and Business-Technology collaboration.
  • Provide senior leadership for assigned Investment Services operations, driving client outcomes, operational excellence, transformation, talent development, and effective risk management.

Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of relevant experience, including significant senior leadership experience in financial services, investment servicing, operations, or a comparable regulated environment.
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, and cross-functional organizations in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Strong experience across talent leadership, risk and controls, transformation, operational resiliency, and senior stakeholder and client management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence functions and geographies, lead change, and deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Excellent executive communication, judgment, and relationship management skills.
