Quality Control Analyst II

As a QC Analyst II in our Quality department in Oceanside, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our manufacturing environment and commercial products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using state-of-the-art techniques to implement innovative testing technologies. The Opportunity

• Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of the manufacturing environment and in-process commercial products according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform microbiological and chemical assays, basic troubleshooting, and equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Represent QC and serve as a primary point of contact for manufacturing and other operational departments.
• Collect, process, and enter data into electronic systems to generate accurate analytical reports.
• Initiate, compile, and perform laboratory investigations, including document reviews, interviews, and tracking.
• Assist with data trending, data review, lab maintenance, and the onboarding and training of new personnel.
• Develop, optimize, revise, and update standard operating procedures and testing methods.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and environmental safety guidelines to foster a positive safety culture.

Who you are

• You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline with 1 year of relevant experience (or an AA with 4 years, or HS diploma with 6 years of related experience).
• You are proficient in cGMP practices across all laboratory assignments and environments.
• You excel at teamwork, sharing responsibilities to accomplish required QC sample testing efficiently.
• You are able to pass the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA) for warehouse access.

Preferred

• You have experience utilizing state-of-the-art laboratory techniques and driving new technology implementations.
• You possess strong communication skills and experience participating in routine cross-departmental projects and investigations.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45,200.00 - 83,900.00 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
