DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr Document Control Administrator, where you'll contribute to maintaining documentation excellence across our operations. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing document control processes that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure compliance with GMP standards while coordinating change control procedures for critical documentation. This position offers opportunities to enhance documentation processes and contribute to the quality assurance of our products and services.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years experience in document control or quality systems in a regulated environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: science, business administration, or related field
• Relevant technical certifications in GMP/GxP documentation practices a plus
• Proficiency in document management systems and quality control software (e.g., Agile, SAP, OCPLM, TrackWise, E1)
• Strong working knowledge of GMP requirements and documentation practices
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with change control procedures and quality management systems
• Additional language skills beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with batch record review and documentation preferred
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $19.83–$29.74.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
