Fund Accounting ETF Senior Manager

The VP – ETF Services Manager will have responsibility for the oversight and delivery of ETF Services operational responsibility for the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

 

The role will provide leadership across the ETF operating model, ensuring accurate and timely PCF delivery, managing, and overseeing the ETF creation/redemption lifecycle.  The candidate strong operational controls and effective management of the activities specific to ETFs. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders to support the continued growth and development of the ETF business.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day management and oversight of the ETF Services function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of PCFs and associated outputs.
• Oversee activities specific to the ETF lifecycle, including creation and redemption activity, cash transactions, basket processing, and ETF-specific reconciliations.
• Manage and oversee the ETF units settlement arrangement and relationship with AP’s.
• Handling AP inquiries related to the ETF creation / redemption orders and the onboarding of new AP’s to the platform.
• Understand the relationship between the ETF's NAV, Portfolio Composition files and the primary market activity, identifying and escalating exceptions where appropriate.
• Partner with relevant operational teams to ensure effective processing of ETF activity within defined market and NAV deadlines.
• Lead and drive the change plan of initiatives within the operations to incrementally improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the function, setting challenging targets.
• Supporting ETF launches, migrations, or operating model transformation and collaborate with key stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

• Extensive relevant experience
• Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA
• Experience in ETF Services or ETF specific Fund Accounting experience.
• Experience in accounting within financial services, strategic management, resource/expense management, and managing client relationships
• Experience in managing operational delivery
• Extensive knowledge of funds services and process
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area
• Experience with ETF Basket/PCF Construction preferred.
• Knowledge of custody, particularly as it relates to ETFs preferred.

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
