Intelligent Asset Management, With A Team of Leading Practitioners having deep functional & industry knowledge specializing in the areas of Asset Integrity and Reliability Management, Master Data Management, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) & Maintenance Execution, Material & MRO Management, Industry Analytics and Digital Industrial Workforce. We serve across various industry verticals, and we are looking for candidates with EAM experience in Discrete & Process manufacturing verticals, covering Auto / Aero & Defense / Oil & Gas / Chemicals / Pharmaceuticals / Consumer Goods / Hi-Tech segments.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Test Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance for an IBM Maximo upgrade project. The successful candidate will own the full testing lifecycle from strategy through to sign-off, working closely with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure a high-quality, low-risk transition to the upgraded Maximo environment.

Responsibilities

• • Define and lead the overall testing approach for the upgrade, covering scope, phases, effort estimates, and resource planning
  • Establish clear entry and exit criteria for each test phase, ensuring full coverage of impacted modules, customizations, and integration points
  • Align the test plan to project milestones and overall program schedule
  • Lead the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts across all testing phases — SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing
  • Ensure traceability between test cases, business requirements, and upgrade change impacts
  • Maintain consistency and rigour in testing standards across all workstreams
  • Manage the full defect lifecycle from identification through to closure, including triage, prioritization, and retest coordination
  • Proactively identify testing risks and escalate blockers early
  • Work collaboratively with technical and functional teams to resolve issues efficiently and within agreed timelines
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to a mixed team of functional testers, technical testers, and business SMEs participating in UAT
  • Facilitate defect triage sessions, daily stand-ups, and phase review meetings
  • Foster a focused, collaborative testing environment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all testing activity on the project
  • Deliver clear, timely test progress reports and dashboards to the Project Manager and steering committee
  • Translate testing metrics into meaningful insights that support informed go/no-go decisions
  • Oversee test environment setup, data preparation, and environment refresh cycles in coordination with the Maximo technical team
  • Validate data migration outcomes and ensure all interfaces and integrations are thoroughly tested prior to each phase gate

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IBM Maximo functional testing or QA roles
• Proven experience leading testing on Maximo upgrade or implementation project
• Strong knowledge of core Maximo modules: Work Orders, Assets, Locations, Inventory, Purchasing, Contracts, and Preventive Maintenance
• Hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6.x and/or IBM MAS (Maximo Application Suite)
• Proficiency in test management tools such as Jira, or Azure DevOps
• Solid command of test methodologies including SIT, UAT, regression, smoke, and performance testing
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with automated testing tools in the Maximo context (e.g., Selenium)

• Eligibility to obtain Security Reliability clearance
• You are a bilingual in French and English
